....and He (She?) has a warped sense of humour....

...because I couldn't get Disc Number One or Five to play --- and those are the ones with the David Tennant video diaries. Furthermore, these are scant, compared to previous seasons because DT claims he hasn't "any more stories to tell". For gawd's sake, man, unbutton your shirt a little and read the phone book! These discs will play on the upstairs DVD player, but get this, we accidentally lost the remote in the waste bin one Garbage Day and we can't access "Special Features". Aaaaaargh!! I finally got both discs to play downstairs, but only saw a few minutes of the video diary before rushing out to retrieve younger daughter from school. Now I'm home, the Resident Fan Boy and elder daughter are watching "Voyage of the Damned" without any features and it isn't even one of the good ones....

What exactly did I do to tick you off, God? (No, no, put that list away...)

I can imagine the horror. To lose the clicker must a huge annoyance!

wow the universe really is sending a big bird of paradise lost to send droppings on your head ... i'm with you... DT could do anything and i'd be happy. and yes, would it *kill* David to unbutton a little!? gawds... at least half of the fans are women. give us *something*! though to be fair, there isn't a lot of gratuitious bouncy-bouncy for the boys since rose left.

besides, it's not up to the actor to have stories to *tell*; he's supposed to act out the stories other people have for his character.

i'm going home to crawl onto the couch and drink heavily. hope your family's weekend gets better.

wow! my work is pusionme... i'm not sure if that's reminiscent of "poison me... poison me now!" or "you are a fish." either could apply.

Hope things get better: sure, the video diary is shorter, but I don't mind that. There are all those lovely episodes to watch AND there are the commentaries....

Thanks for the vote of sympathy, Vanessa!

"pusionme" - what always happens when the cat sees me sit down to watch TV or read the paper...

I mind shorter video diaries, Lisa, because I like DT best when he's his gracious self. Besides, how am I going to access the commentaries without the remote???
